• Explain how you feel about his high school grades.
• Explain why a college education is good.
• Explain why going to work instead of college is unwise.

Dear Mike,

Congratulation for successful completion of high school. I always believed in you and knew that you have ability to concur whatever you want to concur in your life. When I saw your report card, I was completely astonished, as, I knew that at the beginning you were struggling with the grades. It was not an easy journey for you, but you have shown consistent growth in your performance at the latter half of semester.

Tertiary education plays a pivotal role in every person's life. Firstly, it will help you to expand the knowledge and also can create lots of vocational opportunities. Secondly, education is considered very important in today's cut throat competitive era to find better career path for the future.

Having said that, selecting work over college education could be harmful for you in the future. To begin with, it will be very hard for you to get good job on the bases of only high school education, which will restrict your growth. To add on, it will not allow you to expand your horizon.

I hope you chose correct path as your whole life depends on your selection.
