Dear Sir,
I am a 2nd-year Computer Engineering student currently residing in new boys hostel room no 1004 and would like to complain about the high level of noise coming from the new campus restaurant which has made my life miserable. Let me explain the situation in detail.
To elucidate the problem is that the new campus restaurant is located next to the new boy's hostel, therefore, the noise coming from the restaurant always creates disturbance for the students living in the hostel. Although during the day the noise from the restaurant hardly matters as most of the students are in the university campus attending classes however during the late night it disturbs most of the students who are completing their assignments or sleeping. Additionally, due to the noise coming from the restaurant, I was not able to prepare for the exams, therefore, I scored poorly.
Lastly, my suggestion would be either to shift the restaurant in the university campus near the new it building or make this restaurant a silent zone after 10 pm as this help in reducing the noise levels.
Hope you discuss the same with the facilities department and provide an immediate resolution.
