Dear Sir,
I am a resident doctor working in the general ward of this hospital, I am writing to request to grant me ten days of leaves.
I am working in this hospital sincerely and diligently since three years but from past few weeks I am experiencing severe headaches along with giddiness. So,I consulted Dr Sudhir, a reputed neurologist of our hospital and according to him, it is due to the work stress and lack of sleep. Also, he advised me to take rest for some days in addition to the prescribed medicines.
Therefore, I have decided to visit Manali which not only is my home town but has good climate too that is required for my relaxation. This way I can spend some quality time with my parents and it will aid in my rejuvenation as well.
Furthermore, I have convinced Dr James to look after the general ward in my absence, hence, the quality of the treatment provided to the patients will not be compromised.
My sincere apologies for the inconvenience caused, I'd be grateful if you can grant me ten days of leave.
