You bought a music concert ticket. However, you are unable to go. So you offer a ticket to your friend.
Write a letter to your friend. In your letter:
• Explain detailed the concert.
• Why you are unable to go
• How can your friend receive the ticket?
Dear Ben,
How have you been?. It’s been a long time since we last met. I am writing in regards to offer you premium tickets for live music concert as I am unable to attend this show.
To elucidate as you remember, last time when we spoke I told you about a music concert which is happening in our city this month. Well, the band which will be performing is Coldplay and it is their first concert in India. Moreover, the tickets are almost sold out as they have a huge fan following in India. The musical event will take place at Jawahar Lal Nehru Stadium in Delhi and will start at 7 pm on Saturday evening.
I was looking forward to attending this live concert as Coldplay is one of my favourite bands but unfortunately, I have to travel overseas for the product launch of my company.
Since you are also a die-hard fan of this band I suggest this is a great opportunity to listen to live music which will definitely rejuvenate you. The tickets offer to seat in the balcony section of the stadium from where you can have clear visibility of musicians. Why don’t you come over this weekend to my apartment to collect the tickets in person?
I look forward to your response and seeing you soon.
Warm wishes
Ben
