You had dinner with your friend’s family. Write a letter to your friend and express your feelings about the dinner. In your letter, you should:

– Say what you enjoyed about the dinner

– Describe how you feel about his/her family

– Invite your friend and his/her family to your place.

Dear James,

It was nice to meet you and your family yesterday. I'm writing to say thank you for inviting me to your place for dinner.

With regard to dinner, it was so delicious, especially the beetroot salad, which your mother prepared for me. As you know, how much I love homemade food and I was overwhelmed to have all my favourite dishes on the food menu. The chia pudding served by your sister at the end was a cherry on the cake. Please say my special thanks to her and your mom for cooking all those lip-smacking dishes.

As far as the meeting with your family is concerned, it was a quality of time, which I spent with them. I really like their hospitality and kindness. You are so lucky to have parents with such a loving nature and your younger sister, Alia, she is so adorable. She is such a chatterbox that I don't think anyone would need a TV when she is around. Say hello to her.

As you know, my younger brother Joe's birthday is falling next week and we are organizing a surprise brithday party for him. It'd be an honour to have you and your family to be a part of this celebration. Your presence would mean a lot to us and it'd be a wonderful opportunity for our parents also to meet each other.

I look forward to seeing you. Please convey my regard to your parents.

Best wishes,

Ell
