My name is Kumar Sampad and I am a candidate applied for a course at your College. I am writing this letter in response to the invitation for the interview received from your college which has been scheduled on 1st June, 10 in the morning. I am afraid, due to some prefixed issues, I will not be able to make it on that day.
To be honest, I am highly interested for studying International Business from your esteemed college and accordingly I have applied for the admission last month. And, it is my immense pleasure that I have been selected for an initial interview as a candidate on that course. Unfortunately, I have an appointment with my dentist on the same day that has been fixed more than one month ago. As you know, getting the appointment for dental check up is now getting tough and there has always been a long waiting list for patients. Therefore, I would like to apologize for the inconvenience and I am seeking an opportunity to reschedule my date for interview in any other day or any suitable time frame.
I also like to know about the probable length of the interview and any possibility for having an evaluation test during the process. This will definitely help me to a have clear outline on where to focus on as part of the preparation.
