Dear Mohan,
I am writing to share some exciting news about an employment offer I received yesterday. The position is at an architectural firm in Hamilton, Canada.
As you know, I manage the entire landscaping department at ATC here in India, the offer at Ribor Architects in Hamilton is at a junior level. However, the annual package is around CAN$ 65K and the head of the firm has assured me of excellent growth opportunity as they are looking at expansion into other provinces by next year.
I decided to apply for the job as work experience in Canada can add to my profile and ease the application process for permanent residency. Jia is already at McMaster University, it would be wonderful for us to stay close to our daughter.
Since you have lived in Ontario since ’97, we will need your expertise on the current real estate/housing market. I would also need you to advise me on rental vs purchase of a property. Would you know about the current market conditions in Hamilton considering you lived there 2 years ago?
