How have you been? It's been too long since we were last in touch. I hope you are doing fine with your marking and media course. I am writing to you in response to your letter requesting info and my thoughts on foreign direct investment in e-commerce segment.
FDI is the bread and butter for new market and upcoming start ups. As In my country investors like to play safe, they do not prefer investing in some start ups which may or may not be rewarding after long period. Currently government stricken use of FDI in e-commerce affecting thousands of companies like Amazon, Flipkart to name a few.
Now-a-days people do love sales every once in a while due to festive season. Due to this change in rules government discourage investors all around globe to invest in e-commerce in my country. People are not happy as they will not find bumper sale offers in near future.
For me this news served as a blessing in disguise. Being a start up I can raise money up to 100 grand via FDI. As you are only friend I have in New Zealand, I need your help to arrange some meeting with possible clients. I am planning to visit you in early June this year.
