You have just moved into a new home and are planning to hold a party. You are worried that the noise may disturb your neighbour.
Write a letter to your neighbour. In your letter
• introduce yourself
• describe your plans for the party
• invite your neighbour to come
Dear Sam,
Hope this letter finds you well. I am John, we have recently been moved to your street. My house is exact opposite to yours. It’s been a week and we all like it here. In order to explore more and get to know about our neighbors; we are planning to arrange a party. For the party, I have planned many activities and games followed by buffet dinner. Timings would be from 8:00pm till 12:00am max. Furthermore, I am considering to arrange a DJ for some music and dance. Since I am new here so I am reluctant to host an event considering people would get disturbed with noise. I shall try to keep the noise level as low as possible, but cannot assure 0% disturbance for which I apologies in advance.
I would like you to join as well with your family as it is a great opportunity to know more about people living nearby you. I look forward to your participation.
Thanking you in advance.
Yours Truly,
John
