You have lost your student identification card. This has created some problems for you.
Write a letter to the director of student services. In your letter
• advise them of your situation
• explain how this is affecting you
• request a new card
You do NOT need to write any addresses. Begin your letter as follows:

Dear Sir/Madam,
I’m writing to you, as I badly need your assistance.
Last weekend we’ve spent outdoors with my mates, camping in the mountains. While the event was overall great and we’ve visited a lot of spectacular sites, there was one minor issue which affects me now. Somewhere in the middle of nowhere I’ve managed to lose my student identification card. I don’t know how this could happen. Normally I keep my documents in a secure place, but this time I took it with me, because I was going to visit a library on my way back to the campus. That was surely a mistake, I admit it.
Without my ID I have troubles accessing the university, library, gym and my dwelling. I have my driver license, but still I have to spend a lot of time explaining to the security why they need to permit an access for me. My life would be a way less sophisticated would I have my students card recovered.
I would like to kindly ask you to reissue a new ID card for me. Please, tell me how long could it take, as I really struggling every time I’m trying to enter campus sites without this document.
Hope to hear from you soon,
Sincerely,
Mike Vazowski.
