You have recently attended a job interview which went well, but you are still waiting for the decision. Write a letter to HR manager of the company and say
– Give details of the job.
– Why do you think the interview went well?
– Why do you need to know the result?

Dear Sir,
Hope you are doing well. I am writing this letter to follow-up on a recent interview I had with your esteemed organization for the role of Senior Sales Engineer. The position was based in Dubai with regional support to the Middle East and Europe markets.

It was long hiring process of two months and I had gone through an individual round of interviews with human resource, hiring manager and managing director. In each of the interviews, I received positive feedback from each of the interviewers which gave a positive sign of getting through the selection process.

After this, the human resource executive had sent me an email confirming that the team based in Dubai was very comfortable with my skill set and HR department was preparing an effective package but it has been a few weeks now and I have had no communication since then. Hence I request you to give me an update as soon as possible as I have an offer from another company so I need to decide.I would like to highlight here that I am keen on this role as this role is based out of India and promises better growth opportunities than the one I am being offered.

I look forward to your immediate response.
Yours Sincerely
Mick
