Dear Mike,
How have you been? it has been a long time since we last met. I am writing this letter in reference to inform you that I have recently started working for a new company. Let me explain in detail.
Although there were a plethora of reasons for changing my company however the primary reason was extensive travel which was affecting my health. Hence I have moved to a new firm which provides technology solutions for the telecom industry. The role is desk based and involves product support to the regional sales teams based outside India. I feel satisfied with the new company as it provides not only better perks but also promises a better work-life balance.
Lastly, the other news is that soon I was be travelling to company head office in Canada. As a part of company policy, new joiners are required to attend training on new products and additionally have a few sessions with peers stationed in Canada. I feel so excited about this trip as this not only be my first overseas trip but also a great opportunity to explore culture in Canada.
I look forward to your reply.
Warm wishes
