You play a team sport with some friends. Last week a member of the team had an accident and wasn't able to play with you at the weekend. You decide to write to him in hospital, telling him about the match.
Write a letter to your friend.
In your letter,
•tell him which team won
•describe the conditions on the day
•say how you felt about the match.

Dear Tom,
I was shocked to know that you had accident on Monday, just before our semifinal match. Henry who went with you in hospital updated me that you suffered minor fracture and recuperating well. I just arrived today from London so could not get chance to come to hospital to see you.
On semifinal day, we were bit nervous without and everyone was discussing the suitable replacement of you. Finally, we agreed that Mathew can fulfill your role up-to some extent and I must praise him about his performance. Because of his bowling, we won the match with hack club.
It was cloudy and bit humid so conditions were perfect for fast bowlers. I am sure you would have liked the pitch and full packed stadium with our supporters. Post lunch, there were some rain which interrupted the match but did not last much and game continued till end.
In my view, it was important match and with the team efforts we stormed into semifinal. It was full of thrill and competitive till last hours.
I wish you get well soon and ready for final match which is scheduled after 1 month.

With Love,
Ashish
