You recently completed a course in college and liked the lessons given by a particular teacher. Write a letter him/her and introduce yourself. When and where did you take the course? Why did you like those lessons?
Dear Professor John,
I believe your health is good. I am Shiv Verma from Product designing course, a batch of 2017-19. I have finished my course a week back and thought to write a thank you letter for your guidance throughout the course.
While pursuing Product designing I have learned a lot of subjects and enjoyed them thoroughly. Among all these subjects Fundamentals of Design was my favorite subject which was taken by you. Basic design fundamentals like projections, two-dimensional and three-dimensional drawings, freehand drawing was very much of my interest. These lessons have helped me a lot during my final year project where I was designing a specific product for needy. The project was successful and it got funded by one of the companies of Toronto. Now, I am working full time as a Research Designer at my friend’s startup and I can feel that everyone is really happy with my work.
I hope you remember me and accept my appreciation. I wish to work under you again and seek your guidance for better advancement in my skills.
Yours Sincerely, Shiv
