You recently received a letter from a friend asking for advice about whether to go to college or try to get a job. You think he/she should get a job.

Dear Misha,

Hope this letter finds you in good mood. How is it going? I'm glad you've managed to write me about your choice whether to enter college or get a job. I'm writing to say that I sure you should get a job. Let me clarify this.

Entering the college is a pretty bad idea since we all knew that here in Russia unemployment among graduates is very high. Also, you should understand that you will spend at least 4 years of your life studying out of date information. That's what my experience says: old books with old knowledge.

Instead of this, you can already get an entry position in the almost every IT firm as you wanted. You just need to show your attitude to work and to your responsibilities. In addition, when your peers graduate without practice, you will already have a four-year-old experience. This is highly valued by employers.

Don't get me wrong, but I feel that you will become a really skilled programmer without wasting your time studying. You were always good at Math and other STEM subjects. Remember how did we like those tasks and experiments in Physics and Informatics? That's unforgettable for me.

Feel free to write me if you want to discuss this further. You can also call me (89261233434) or drop me an email (evgenyivashko@yandex.ru); please do not no call me after 21:00 pm because I have small children. Looking forward to hearing from you soon.

Best regards,
Evgeny.
