You recently received a letter from a friend asking for advice about whether to go to college or to try to get a job. You think he / she should get a job. Write a letter to this friend. In your letter:1. Say why he / she would not enjoy going to college2.

Dear Sally,

I was delighted to receive a letter from you last week. I am doing very well, thank you. I hope you are keeping well too.

First of all, congratulations on completing your graduation course in engineering with flying colors. There are very few candidates who earn a distinction in this course and i am glad that you are one of them. I am sure that this will be the first step for you to get into a good organization to begin your career.

Many aver that college life is more of enjoyment than learning. So would have been until graduation. However, post graduation college is not for enjoyment. It is a serious business with strict adherence to quality and timelines. These courses are advanced professional courses which require dedication and discipline to ensure their effectiveness and earn grades.

Most of the post graduation courses would be relevant after a few years of work experience in the related field. My suggestion would be that you take a job. This would give you a chance to explore your area of interest and expertise should you wish to change your mind for course higher education. Your job would enable you to save some money for post graduation course as well.

I hope you would make up your mind soon. Take care.

Regards,
Amber
