Dear Sir,
I am writing this letter to draw your attention towards an urgent matter regarding proposed plan of airport expansion. Through column of your esteemed newspaper, I want to highlight the adverse consequences, which this plan would have upon the quality of living and urban landscape nearby.
My house is walking distance from the airport, facing the runway side. Living in a such a proximity is a challenging situation for us. Many a times, we used to woke up in the middle of night due to high intensity noise of landing flights. The noise level will become unbearable, in case the proposed plan to increase number of flights gets implemented. Moreover, It will add to the sufferings of senior citizens living in the old age home near my residence.
Furthermore, due to expansion, there is high probability of increased traffic load on the main roads nearby. So, in all cases, this development runs counter to interests of local residents. I hope, you newspaper will play a key role in bringing this issue to the notice of civil aviation authority,
