Dear Sir/Madam,
I am Mahmoud Ahmed and I have recently passed a job interview for the Civil Engineer position at the BGC company. I was
expected to start the position on November 15, as agreed, and am writing because, unfortunately I will not be able to present myself at that day.
During the interview I estimated fifteen days as the amount of time needed for me to finish my activities at my current job,
but due to fact that I got sick for the last whole week and was not able to work, I could not finish my tasks and I will need
another week to do so. If it necessary, I can send you a singed copy of a letter from my doctor informing that I had to stay at my home and not doing any physical work.
to clear the backlog created by my absent, I can work for two more additional hours every day, either by coming early or
leaving late until I catch up. I know it is my responsibility to clear the pressure caused by my absent. I will work harder until everything is back to normal again.
