Essay topics:

You went to another city for a training course and stayed at a friend’s house for a week. They have been great hosts. Write a letter to your friend. In your letter:
• thank them for having you at their house for a week
• express your gratitude for their hospitality
• say how much you miss them

Dear Jack,
I’m James and I’m writing this letter to appreciate your kindness and your awesome hospitality during the week that I was your guest.
In fact, If I hadn’t had you, I would have been forced to stay in a hotel or rent a room, which definitely would cost me and an arm and a leg. By putting me in, I was able to attend the training course about the latest techniques in sales and paying the tuition. So, thanks a million.
And the way you treated me was so special too. You kindly made me feel like I’m home, and I had the time of my life during that week. Participating in the seminars in the morning, and then hanging out with you in the city was a dream come true. With all those fantastic clubs and great drinks, especially when we went to that swimming pool with its amazing measures, I got rejuvenated.
With that being said, I really miss you, more than you can imagine. So, please contact me on my Whatsapp number which is: 09123069096. What’s more, next month, January 5th, my girlfriend is throwing my birthday party, and you are invited as well. Feel free to bring your partner, and we won’t take no in response.
Thank you again for being a great host, I can’t wait to see you again.
Best regards,
James Smith
