Dear Sir,
I am writing this letter in regards to seek your approval for the two-weeks vacation as I have to attend my cousin’s marriage.
The venue of the event is in my hometown. I was overwhelmed after hearing the news from my mother about this event. Since it’s a family function, my presence is certainly important because I have to make certain arrangements for my cousin’s marriage. Besides, I will be meeting my family members after a long time as I am working with your company in Vancouver.
As I said, I would require two weeks' leave for this occasion. Therefore, I would request you to please concur with my leave application request to enjoy this family event. I will be grateful to you if you will grant me the fourteen days leave.
Moreover, I have informed my teammates to manage the work during my absence from the office. Yet, I will be available to respond to all emails from my phone. Plus, I will inspect the work by coming online for five days while I will be away from the office. In this case, I will be in touch with the flow of our firm’s business. I hope you will consider taking my leave request.
