However, I am writing this letter to apologize for the inconvenience we had caused you yesterday. I feel ashamed that I was not aware of it until I read your letter in which you had expressed your grievance.
Following the theft that had occurred in our neighborhood last week, my family decided to install a theft alarm in our house. Yesterday, we had installed it and were testing whether we could hear the alarm for any corner of the house. We carried it out during midday, so that we do not create nuisance to the surroundings.
Nevertheless, the mistake is on our part, as it had disturbed your child's nap. We hope you understand how deep we regret for our act and forgive us. Moreover, as a sign of fresh start to our relationship, kindly accept the box of sweets, which I have sent along with this letter.
