Some education systems make students focus on certain subjects at the age of 15, while others require students to study a wide range of subjects until they leave school. What are the benefits of each system? Which do you think is a better educational system?
In certain parts of the world, high school students are required to study specific subjects when they are 15 years old, while in other education systems, students are made to learn diverse subjects before leaving school.
It is a common idea that a broad and holistic curriculum can carry out versatile individuals, ensuring students a fulfilling cultural life and a thriving career later. Apart from the undoubted benefits of academic subjects, non-academic foreign language, welcoming attitude spoken Vietnamese, for ones are no less unsubstantial. Obviously, by learning, students can be imbued with a good understanding of alien cultures. A good linguistic ability example can help young foreigners know why they are often ripped off at markets, or why other residents are sometimes inhospitable towards them, thus find ways to avoid such situations. Meanwhile, sport or PE classes, as another example, can enhance students’ ability to foster their creativity and lateral thinking, both representing desirable qualities of a potential candidate and giving them an upper hand when entering the workforce, another work as a team while art classes can.
It is also argued that educational institutions make students focus on job-related or foundation subjects that facilitate their transition to later education. By integrating such courses as public speaking, independent learning skills, or personal finances, students might be more confident and well-prepared for real-life situations. Therefore, focusing on a limited number of subjects in such a way cannot guarantee a student's well-rounded development. They may be proficient in their work, but they could lack the necessary communication skills in the context of globalization if not investing properly in language learning. At the same time, they can suffer from a physically weak body to continue their further study or research in their profession if in their secondary school physical exercise periods are neglected.
In conclusion, my firm conviction is that students can reap greater benefits from an education system which includes a wide array of academic disciplines. In the 21st century when professionalism and personal development are highlighted, such a paradigm will be embraced by more and more educational reformers.

Educational paradigm is one…
Educational paradigm is one of the most controversial topic. While some people believe that pupils should be taught as much subject as their teachers can. However, I would contend that focus measure, which require learners just need to concerntrate on some key subjects, seem like much more better than the other.
On the one hand, both systems offers considerable benefits. First of all, extensive curriculum give students a opportunity to expend acquaintance in lots of fields. Pupils who study a wide range of subjects may have groundwork in most of majors due to their teaching scope comprised of all of subjects from science to humanities, therefore, they could have a multi-dimensional outlook on life and thanks to that system, students can easily find which major have a gift for them base on their study performance at educational institution. On the other hand, learners who focus on key subjects have their own distinct benefits, concerntrate on specialized knowledge, for example. Those who pay all attention on subjects belong to their thematic areas may do not be distract by other unnecessary subjects. It is posible for them to gain technical understanding because they may have full-time for study their major.
This can be sound arguement but to me personally, among two methods, which is order students focus on some major subjects, the other make learners master in all of subjects at school, i would choose the first one and there are wide array of reasons that account for the effective of that program. Firstly, it seem clearly that those who concentrate on certain branch of study do not need to spend as much time as others, they may have more time for practice instead of eplore all theory in all field, that learners could have hands-on experience, as the result, and that may be competitive edge later when they graduate and look for a position. Secondly, while there are some disciplines are center in focus system, in other method, it is compulsory for students to analysis all areas and that may decrease their interest in study.
In conclusion, although the extensive curriculum make it seem like a good idea, i believe that focus on certain subjects system is better
