Globalization
Globalization is often seen has a contentious topic due to the advantages and disadvantages it provides to the world.
Even thought undeniably, globalization has made commercial relationships easier than ever before, it also has some downsides to this integration. First, there are dangers in relying on a global economy because problems in one region can effect other regions too. For example, the 2008 financial crisis was generated in the US but the results of it were visible all over Europe and other countries.
Second, the low cost of living offered by developing countries has consequently made workers in developed zones loose their jobs. In the USA, TVs production was not as cheap as in Mexico, so when the fabricants of television moved abroad, thousands of families were left without incomes.
Finally, there are not really environmental benefits when it comes to the rise of capitalism, since companies keep producing more and more cheap goods and exporting them without any regulations, being harmful to the ecosystem.
