inteligence
According to the reading, visual-spatial people are known as their talent in problems solving related to space understanding which is illustrated by the lecturer with an example of chess masters.
The reading states that visual intelligent people can recognize asymmetrical structures such as buildings, paintings and faces as well as replaced objects. In addition, their intelligence gives them the ability to draw the patterns they watch, usually when they only see them in brief amount of time. As lecturer defines to support the reading, chess players can draw Logical communication models of a chess board that was used in a real game, but if there are no patterns in the model, the player cannot draw it.
The reading declares that people gifted with visual-spatial brain can make and change mentally images as well as drawing pictures and maps with spatial information in their brain. They also can rotate complicated forms by seeing them in visual aspects. Thus the professor mentioned blindfold chess to illustrate the reading. She states that the players move table to table and play at least 10 games and just by visualizing the chess board as someone tell them the last move of their competitor. In other words, they have to memorize a mental picture of the game.
The reading states that humans with visual-spatial intelligence can foretell and plan before any happening. To put it another way, their geometrical memory enable them to predict the actions and understand their outcomes. That’s why majority of them like playing games. Due to this, the professor indicates that strategies and plans are not just moves for chess players; they picture each game's own patterns and give them position to predict the next move. In addition, they can learn specific moves from their past plays strategies so that they can use them again in their future games.
