The reading and the lecture are both about elephant behavior. Writer feels that there are three possible reasons for this animal actions.However, the profeesor disagree whie the challenges climas by the author. She is out of the opinion that they are not true .
To begin with, the author argues that the elephants had a feeling if they approach to die. In the article states that they have an elephant graveyards. This specific arguments challenged by the professor. She mention that its not becuses they knew that they gonna die. She elaborate on this by saying thoses elephant are getting older and their teeth worn out due to aging factor. As result they live thier life near to the water in order to get a soft food.
Secondly, the writer suggest that theis animal have an art ability. Moreover, she mentions that they draw flowers and other elephant. In conterast, the speaker cast doubt this idea by point out that they already Trina by humen this skill. She states an example of this which these pintbrush giving to them by the people and force them to do the particlar paint with out knowing reconizing of what they are doing.
Finally, the author posits that elephant afraid from mice. The passage stated that they think they are dangerous and try to avoiding them. The professsor, however, rebuts this by bringing up that thoses elephant didn't knew this species. Furthermore, she said if they become familier to them such in zoo this fear will disappper.
