TPO 35- In 1912 a bookseller named Wilfrid M. Voynich acquired a beautifully illustrated handwritten book (manuscript) written on vellum (vellum is a material that was used for writing before the introduction of paper). The “Voynich manuscript,” as it

The passage and lecture are raguing over the author of Voynich manuscript. The passage author suggests three persons that one of them might write the book. On the contrary, the lecturer challenges each person as author of the book and he believes that none of these people were the author of manuscript.

Firstly, the passage author proposes that Anthony Acham was the author of manuscript for some reasons. In contrast, the lecturer refuses this claim and he states that it is not fair that Acham as an ordinary physician scientist wrote those secret things. Moreover, Acham’s books about the plants, was a book with some information about common well known plant and had nothing to do with secrets. Therefore, he did not write the manuscript.

Second, the author maintains that the manuscript is a fake book written by Edward Kelly. On the opposite side, the professor rebuts this claim and he states that Kelly was a person who deceived people but he could do more easily to make fool people and earned money. In better words, this manuscript was written carefully while Kelly were capable to make fool people with simpler book. Hence, it was not necessary that he spent a lot of time for writing such a precise manuscript.

Third, the passage author notes that it is likely that Voynich himself wrote this book to sell it. On the other hand, the professor objects this point and he asserts that experiment have shown that the page and ink of manuscript are 400 years old. In this respect, Voynich might use some old books for making this manuscript, but it is impossible that he could find such old ink to write the manuscript.
