The reading passage claims that thee are many solution that millions of birds can recognize glass and open air so with this solution they do not try through glass windows. However, the lecture casts serious doubt on this claim by presenting some counter arguments and examples. He believes that this solution does not effective for solve this problem and it can not stop bird.
Firstly, he argues that regular , clear glass with one way is not true. In addition in outside has reflect mirror and this is bad. bird can understand mirror. It reflects that it is design. This, however, is contrast to the passage claims that one solution is to replace the regular, clear glass with one-way glass that is transparent is only one direction. The occupants of the building can see out, but birds and others cannot see in. they understand it is barrier and obstacle.
Moreover, it is noted in the reading passage that a second solution is to paint colorful with straight lines or other design on regular window glass. for example a window could have a design of thin strips painted over the glass. In contrast the lecture clearly states that paints in the glass have many problem due to some many place in design it is open so while birds arrive this situation. They try to fly throw them in space. this design have negative effect for people inside inn this glass can be dark.
Finally, the speakers points out that magnetic field to guide birds help them for navigate but in the winter and cold day sense is different. this ability in the inside city have more effect. Nevertheless, the text asserts that the third solution to create an artificial field to guide birds away from building. human use instrument called a magnetic compress determine directions. this natural ability to sense earth's magnetic fields: this ability works just like compress and it helps birds navigate in right direction when they fly. in contrast a bird flight path can be equipped with powerful electromagnets that emit magnetic signals that steer birds in a direction away from the building.
