The question is that did bees exist on Earth as early as about 200 million years age? There is some fosilized structure that sombody say taht these structure relates to bees. And others disagrees with this idea. There are several reasons which the passage shows that bees were not exist in the early past. But the lecturer disagrees with the passage. In the folllowing paragraphs, their reasons is illustrated.

First, the passage states that there is no fossils which be related to bees. Thus, there was no bee in the erarly time. If bees were exist, now it must remain some fossils of their bodies or their nestd. But the lecturer says that in is not nessesary to be some fossils if they are exist. And she adds that because of Rezins which trees release, their fossils may be losts. Thus, this statement can not be a good reason to deny the existance of bees.

Second, the passagee states that in that times, there was an absence of floering plant, and now we know that bees almost feed on flowers. Because of the lackl of flowering plant< there was no bee in early ages. But the lecturer states that in that time there was other plants like Pantris which bees used to feed on them. So this reason cannot be a good reason.

Finally, the passaage states that the fossils which was found in Arizona, there was some difference in the shapes of of their nest relative to the present nests. Modern patterns have a spireal shape. So these fossils were made by other insects such as wood-boring beetles. But the lecturer disagrees with this reason. She added that some resons like water proofing may be the reasons that those fossils are different from modern nest, so they may related to the bees nest. Thus, like the other bad resons, this reason cannot be good reason and she refute this passage claim.
