The reading and the lecture both discuss Paleontologists have long wondered whether large pterosaurs were capable of powered flight or whether they were able only to glide. .
While the reading states that there are several arguments have been made against powered flight.
The lecture refutes rhis , by saying that the Pterosaurs were cabable of powred flight .

First of all , the reading claims that since modern reptiles are cold-blooded, ancient reptiles such as pterosaurs were probably cold-blooded as well so pterosaurs would not have been able to generate the energy needed to fly.However , the lecture argues that Pterosaurs have a warm blood because Pterosaurs skin covering by a hiar which makes it is blood has high- tempreture.

In addition , the reading makes the argument is that some Pterosaurs have probably so heavy that they would not have been able to flap their wings fast enough to stay aloft for any length of time.
The lecture argues this point by stating that Pterosaurs have a holo bones which make them weight low nough to stay aloft for any length of time.
