TPO-47 - Integrated Writing Task Pterosaurs were an ancient group of winged reptiles that lived alongside the dinosaurs. Many pterosaurs were very large, some as large as a giraffe and with a wingspan of over 12 meters. Paleontologists have long wondered

Both the passage and the lecturer are discussing the flight capability of Pterosaurs, it has been written in the passage that they couldnt fly for three main reasons but the lucturer conversly believes that the mentioned reasons in the passage dont make scence at all.
The passage firstly argues the fact that Pterosour cant fly by assuming that it probably were a cold-blooded animal, however the lucturer argues this fact by mentioning the evidence that has been found that shows it has had hairs and fairs which is a property of warm-bloooded animals.
Secondly, for countering the passages reasoning about the weight of the Pterosaur, she hands over the features of its sculeton, it has had hollow bones that makes it too much lighter therefore this can not be a reason for not being able to fly.
Thirdly the lecturer explains that if the Pterosaurs wanted to take off like birds by running on their back legs this would be an issue for their flight capability, but as they used all of their limes to run fast and take off the passages last mentioned reason doesnt seem to be correct too.
