TPO 52 Integrated Writing Task Summarize the points made in the lecture being sure to explain how they challenge the specific points made in the reading passage

Both the author of the article and the lecturer's statements revolve around whether the asteroids could be a right place for human future colonizations . Regarding the passage, the author profoundly believes that there are three plausible hypotheses which all together attest that establitiong new colonies on asteroids like moon are reasonable. Howerver, the professor calls all the mentioned claims into question since they lack enough evidence to be considered credible. In fact, The professor believes that these reasons are not practical enough and addresses, in detail, the trouble with each point made in the reading text.
First and foremost, The author of the reading states that lower gravitiy of asteroids can help the spacecraft landing and taking off more easier, besides they can also caryy more equipments for the colony while using less fuel. The professor repudiates this fallacious belief by referring to more strong evidence. According to the lecturer, this difference in gravity level can have severe impact on the people's heath by decreasing the mucles strenght and bone mass. Addintionally, he goes on by saying that these affects can make long term diesices. So this hypothesis is excluded and it is not convincing.
Another hypothesis, presented by the essayist, hold the idea that the mines of rare metals can make a profitable source of income for earth. While, It is not adequate to prove that importing precious good from asteroids is a logical idea. Nevertheless, the orator explicitly addresses this point when he states that author might have miss the while picture. He elaborates on this by bringing up the point that this idea requires a vast amount of affluence to become real. Additionally, the more common the valuable metals become, the more inexpensive them become, so this process is not profitable. Thus, the secound claim is also ruled out as the result of more decisive fact which is offered by the professor.
Finally, the author brings his arguments to a close by suggesting that the asteriods are close enough to be a good land for human setelment. While he actualy ignores one crucial fact. The asteroids move on orbits and their distance from earth vary in large scale. Not surprisingly, the lecturer takes issue with this claim by contending that they move on their orbit even farther than mars which makes them almost unreachable. Consequently, this hypothesis is also based on kwrong reasoning.
