If new Supermarket is located in S1, it would be in the countryside which is near main roads to Hindon whose population is approximately 10,000 people. This location would be most beneficial for countryside dwellers and Hindon citizens which need pass 12 km from Hindon to Garlsdon.
If new supermarket is builts in S2, it would be more strategic because there are industry, housing, and three main roads nearby. S2 is located in the town centre which has three junction to Hindon, Bransdon, and Cransdon in the North-West, South-West, and South-East respectively. Moreover, there are many dwellers live in there.
Uniquely, S1 and S2 are located not far from railway which could make them easier to be accessed.
In conclusion, the picture illustrates the possible locations of new Supermarket in Garlsdon who has 65,000 population.
