There are justifiable reasons why some people believe that studying art is an important subject for children. In my opinion, learning it is a wasteful use of time. Firstly, art is not a practical subject in our life, which means it does not help us much with making money, except for a few professional and accomplished artists. Secondly, it seems that there is a minority amount of children who have an innate ability to study art. and thus teaching art for them is useless. Finally, the art skills itself also requires using a lot of time to master, resulting in they often can not see the improvement within a short time.
