Task 1. The diagram shows the components of a neuron and how it works
The given diagram illustrates the fundamental parts of a neuron and its operational mechanism.
By and large, a neuron has six components that come from the cell body in the left to terminal buttons in the right.
Firstly, the cell body with plenty of dendrites released around has one some in the center. These dendrites that become thinner toward their ends, play a receiver roles messages from other cells. After being received, the messages through the axon are brought over to other neurons, muscles, or glands. However, to speed up neural impulses, the axon is covered by myelin sheath. An electrical signal transits along downsite of the axon to terminal buttons that finally forms junctions with other cells.
