What are effects of computer in our every lives?
In modern society, computers have become really popular that each family all has at least one. It is undeniable that the computer is convenient and helpful to people in many fields. Besides the computer can have a variety of negative effects on our every lives such as health problems and communication.
Firstly, the computer affects people’s health a lot. Over the long term, the computer can cause physical damage. Using the computer for many hours every day can lead to vision problems, our eyes are susceptible to the strong light from the computer screen. Backaches are common among people who spent a lot of time sitting at computer desks. On the other hand, a lot of spend hours at a computer instead of doing exercise and take part in outdoor activities. This is the reason why today there are a lot of people who are overweight. In addition, it also causes the skin to age quickly.
Secondly, computers also affect communication between people. Today we can buy anything, talk or learn through a computer. However, a lot of people skip meetings with friends and avoids family members to get more computer time. It is not uncommon for people to prefer texting instead of actually meeting. It will cause us to gradually lose our feelings for each other. On the other hand, staying at home using the computer instead of going out and making friends with a lot of people causes social connections to fade. We have to know that our relationships begin to wither if we do not spend time together.
In conclusion, computers can affect people’s physical and social interaction. I think this is a warning for people who depend too much on computers. We should use computers appropriately to avoid their harmful effects and improve our life.
