People spend too much time on their work rather than on their personal life and experience time shortage. What problems will it cause them? What could be the possible solutions?
Maintaining a healthy work-life balance has been a predominant problem to our modern workforce. For most people, to stay competitive in the work environment and spending enough time with family remains a big ask. This essay will discuss, the various problems that modern workforce face due to unhealthy work-life balance and throw some possible suggestions to overcome this burning issue.
Firstly, these days every employee is facing huge work pressure due to the competition prevailing in the work environment. Every employee must meet their annual goals set by his employer to stay employed in the company. As a result, one ought to spend beyond his time and energy to fulfill his commitments towards his employer. Due to this, people cannot afford enough time with his family members and apparently affects personal relationships.
Moreover, there are several health risks associated with improper work-life balance. Not only their personal relationships are under stake, but also their ability to perform well in work is severely impaired due to their health. People who spend more time on work are prone to get affected by diseases such as high blood pressure, heart diseases and obesity during their young age as compared to those people who manage their time well between work and personal life. Hence, it is apparent that there is a high health risk involved due to irregular work-life balance.
In conclusion, work-life management is growing to become astonishingly important among the modern workforce. In my opinion, although modern workforce cannot run away from the pertinent competition prevailing over their Job, one must deliberately spend or balance their time with their family and do their personal welfare activities such as Yoga or physical workouts.
