: Zoo is the place where animals are taken care by government. It is not their natural habitat, but it is created like that, so animals could feel it is natural. I believe zoo is the safest place for animals, because of proper care. Zoo is the place where we could see various animals and obtain knowledge about them and their species. Otherwise, we do not go to see these animals in forest or jungle. So, I think, there should be zoo to preserve animals and their species.

In zoo, proper care of animals are taken by government, they are safer in zoo than in forests. Nowadays, we could read or hear news about illegal hunting. Various animals were killed by illegal hunting. This has already reduced the population of animals. There are many animals like tigers and lions, whose species are no more in existence in various parts on the earth. We have to preserve them for us and upcoming generations. If we do not take care of them, then next generation could see them in pictures only. So, zoo is only the places where animals and their species can be maintained properly.

In addition, animals in zoo are trained by trainer to play various shows in circus for entertainment. In circus, people are entertained by animals. Kids feel happy, because they could closely see many animals there. Also in zoo, kids not only can see these animals, but also can obtain information about them. For example, they could learn about how to milk the cow and many other things. They could also take pictures with them, which is not possible without zoo. These are very sweet and learning memories for kids. These animals don’t hurt anyone, as there are trained and controlled by trainer.

Although, many people think that, in zoo, animals are trained by harsh ways, such as they are beaten by trainers and like that. So, these people are against of keeping animals in zoo. But, I believe, animals are safe in zoo, and this is the place where they are preserved properly, which is impossible without zoo.
