Some people believe that primary schools should no longer teach children how to write by hand, and instead should spend time teaching them how to type on a computer. Other people believe that it is still important for schools to teach children to have good handwriting. Which point of view do you agree with? Explain why.
I disagree with the idea of no longer teaching children handwriting in primary school because of two reasons. First, handwriting is very important at a young age when the children's brain is still developing, it engages many skills, and provides many benefits in reading, writing and spelling. Second, It's a complex skill that benefits their mind and it also helps them handle tasks that require other activities like eating properly with a fork, tying their laces, fastening the buttons on their clothing and so on.
