The article defines questioning awareness of effect as a way of drawing the student’s attention to the subject by asking a question and not waiting for the answer. The professor brings up an example to illustrate this. He states that he used to teach 8 year-old students and the students got raised their hands to ask or answer the questions in the class and took part in the discussions, except a girl who did not follow the rules and just called out the answer and made the other students frustrated. The teacher once asked the student whether she realized that her answers without the teacher’s permission took the chance of other students to participate the discussion and then, continued the teaching and did not wait for the answer. Next time the girl raised her hand the same as other students and followed the rules.
