TOEFL SPEAKING TASK 6: BARRIERS OF OPENING NEW BUSINESS

The professor is talking about the two types of barriers that businessman would encounter when opening a new business. The first barrier is called financial barrier. For example, a new fitness center needs to buy expensive equipments first before it can earn any money from running the business. These money expenditure are not to be covered. The second barrier is called costumer loyalty, which is to make costumer stop by your business. The professor compared an old popular gym to a newly opened gym to explain this. People are hard to moved or attracted by the newly opened gym because they are already costumers to the old gym. They are loyal to the old gym.
