Some teachers think that international student exchange would be beneficial for all teenage school students Do you think its advantages will outweigh the disadvantages

In this time of globalization, Many countries collaborate with other countries to exchange their students for a predefined period. Many academic professionals believe that such student exchange has myriad advantages and some think that there are disadvantages to that. I would try to discuss both of the views, although I strongly agree with the former group that has a more positive outlook towards foreign exchange than the negative one.

At the outset, there are numerous reasons that why it is beneficial to interchange students with other countries. And the foremost important one is to exchange of culture. For instance, through student exchange programs, those pupils will have exposure to foreign traditions, civilization, and day-to-day etiquette, which eventually broadens the perspective of those teenagers, and reciprocatively, the domestic children will also have fresh attitudes towards other cultures through interactions of these international students. Moreover, this does not only interchange the tradition but it builds sympathetic attachment towards foreign traditional values.

On the contrary, there is a portion of tutors who believes that such temporary foreign study would be nothing but a waste of key academic time. To put it in other words, when a young kid visits another country to study, he won’t have much time to adapt to their pedagogy and he might learn any academic concept, which might result in the loss of the curriculum in his home country as well. Moreover, at that age, many youngsters are not even able to adapt to new cultural values, which is the ultimate purpose of the concept of the student exchange program. So the program might become not only a waste of precious time but also a waste of the country’s monetary resources.

Considering the aforementioned points of view from both sides, I support the idea of academic exchange of students with the consideration of the maturity age of humans as well, which may fulfill the government’s vision to influx and interchange the tradition and culture of two countries.
