The line graph illustrates how many tourists arrived to Caribbean island from 2010 to 2017.
Overall, it is clear that the figures for visitors staying both on cruise ships and on island had upward trends with some fluctuations.
In 2010, merely 1 million tourists visited Caribbean island, however three-fourth of them retained on island. The following year, nearly a half million tourists from the total of about 1.3 million tourists were on cruise ships. In 2013, there was a double increase in the number of visitors who stayed on the island, while tourists on cruise ship had fallen before recovering to 0.5 million. By 2017, the total number of visitors arrived to Caribbean island had increased significantly, reaching around 3.5 million. In 2017, the figure for visitors retaining on cruise ships rose considerably to 2 million, whereas the number of tourists staying on the island remained constantly for the rest of the period, except for falling and recovering in the last two years.
