The graph below gives information on wages of Somecountry over a ten-year period. Write a report for a university tutor describing the information shown.
The given line chart illustrates the percentage of wage growth of a period of ten years from 1993 to 2003.
Overall, it is clear from the chat that the wages was peaked in 1998 and touched he minimum level in 2002. In 1993, the wages was only 2%, there after it showed a sharp increase throughout the year and doubled, 4%. In 1994, then it dropped slowly to 3% in 1996. The following two years, it climbed up dramatically and reached the peak of 6% in 1998.
On the contrary, from 1999 the percentage of wages showed a negative trend of dropping until 2003, except the year 2000. In 2000, it remained the same level roughly with negligible rise. From 1999, the wages percentage declined considerably and reached the minimum level of 1% in 2003. After that, it is regained and slowly raised. At the end of 2003, it doubled and reached to 2%.
In summary, the percentage of the wages has been showed a fluctuating trend throughout the ten years under review.
