In terms of chatting perspective girls spend more time than boys, 68% and 53% respectively. Some girls (8%) even spend almost 4 plus hours on chatting on the world wide wide, which is equal to 3 fold of boys figures (3%) who do the same. whereas, one forth percentage of boys, girls and all students are spending less than an hour on online chatting. Approximately 5% of students are addicted to this new way of communication irrespective of gender.

When it comes to online gaming boys leading in front, a staggering 83% of boys spend their time on internet gaming consoles. In that, 8% of boys are addicted to these kind of games, utilizing more than 4 hours of time just for the same. While girls are less prone to internet games, only a very small percentage (2%) of girls spend more time on this. But at the same time Majority of boys (43%) prefer to play online games for a short amount of time.

In conclusion, girls and boys has different interest in terms of their internet activity. Girls love to chat more on the web whereas, boys love to play games on online gaming consoles.
