Nowaydays we are producing more and more rubbish.Why do think this is happening?What can governments do to help reduce the amount of rubbish we produce?

It is concerning issue that in twenty first century ever increasing amount of waste is produced. This is due to the fact that the convenience of disposal stuff, everyday entry of new and attractive appliances and clothes in market and packaging, etc. Measures could be taken to lessen the rubbish we produce.

There are several factors contributing to this problem. First and foremost is that people tending to use more disposal products nowadays than ever before? They find it easier use cups, bottles and cutlery that are disposable and then throw it after use, rather than wasting time washing up ceramic made utensils. Another point to consider, growing number of newly designed gadgets and clothes in market swaying people to buy latest branded items in order to show their status in society.

Therefore, clearing out old ones, not because they are not working anymore just because they are obsolete, gives a rise to waste materials. This could bring negative effects to our environment in long run.

Finally, great amount of packaging on products and plastic bags to carry shopping are also held accountable for this trend. It is easy to see in market even everyday usable items are packaged in paper, plastics, and cartons that is simply waste of resources.

The way forward for government to tackle this problem is to run educational campaigns to encourage people reduce the use of plastic bags and purchase products with minimum packaging on it. People can carry their own reusable bags for shopping and old fashioned items could be given to charities so as to help poor and needy people providing with those stuff. Moreover, government should require companies to pay tax those use more packaging material.

In a nutshell, there is no doubt that modern world is creating more and more rubbish. Every individual must start taking actions and change their way of living to control it before it gets worse.
