Some experts believe that it is better for children to begin learning a foreign language at primary school rather than secondary school.Do the advantages of this outweight the disadvantages?

In recent years, the age of starting to learn a second language has been become one of the most controvesial debates among educationalists in order to initializing the teaching programs. I believe that, if starting to learn occurs in less ages, it will be more practical.

Some experts think that, students should be educated in primary school for another language because they are more flexible mentally and it makes the learning process easier and faster. It means that children's minds are still evacuated and prepared to get new language materials. Additionally, their school programs are not fully planned to have one hour- language classes.

On the other side, poeple in childhood are more sensitive than who are in adolescence. Which means that younger students are become unmotivated easier as a result of a generalist teacher's lack of information, than older ones. Sensitive pupils who are still exposed to their mother toung are very young to fully appreciate another tounge also they are endangered by inappropriate teaching methods.

In my idea, if teaching styles and basic learning materials are under controlled and standard in primary school, it will be more beneficial to start soon and use the students' learning capacity. In contrast, if we do not have special accurate educational programs, it is better to wait for guidance school and stop to sacrifice learners' motivation.

In conclusion, the age of exposure to a foreign language is in the close relationship with teaching planning and programming and also having qualified teachers. Eventually, the age which has been chosen has many merits and drawbacks for obtaining pleased results.
