smoking rates for men and women in someland
the graph given below illustrates the statistical rates of smoking in Someland from year 1960 to 2000. it includes two categories. one for men i.e; with round dots and other for women with square dots. rate is calculated per 1000 people.
to show a downward trend, the burning of cigar rates has declined significantly among
men. it was highest in year 1960 i.e;600 per 1000 people and to hit the lowest point it was 250 in year 2000.
on the contrary, coming to the women's statistics, some fluctuation is present. the mediocre no. of smokers was in year 1960 i.e; 100 and the peak point was in year 1975 and 1980 both which was 320. from year 1985 to 2000 the rates plunged greatly.
to summarize, the graph showed the smoking analysis of men and women prevailing in Someland and the no. of smokers in male category was considerably high as compared to women.
