The three pie chart illustrates the quantity of sodium, saturated fat, and sugar included in four standard American meals percentagewise.

Overall, Americans consumed the highest amount of sodium and fat at dinner, while sugar intake was recorded maximum during snacks. Another interesting fact reveled that breakfast contained the least amount of all three nutrients.

When considering the consumption of sodium, the breakfast and lunch equals the amount of sodium intake in dinner. Likewise, the quantity of saturated fats in snack and breakfast carries same weight as at dinner. Same as above, intake of sugar in dinner and lunch matches the potion of sugar during snacks.

Regarding the absorption of sugar during the day, the percentage rose by 3% between breakfast and lunch, and then 4% from lunch to dinner. As opposed to other nutrients, the citizens take an equal amount of 14% sodium for snacks and breakfast. On a final note, the saturated fat jumped 10% from breakfast and lunch, and then additional 11% increase from lunch to dinner.
