The bar chart illustrates the percentage of Australian men and women doing regular physical activity divided by age in 2010.
As can be seen from the chart, the number of females involved in excercise was higher than that of males except for the young at the age of 15 to 24. While men at 35 to 64 years old took the most physical activity, it was women at the age of 15 to 24 took the largest amount.
In particular, men taking exercise recorded a steady increase till they reached 54 and started to drop with an insignificant amount of 0,3% at 55 to 64 and 6% at 65 and over. On the other hand, the amount of excercise that women got involved in seems to have a substantial fluctuation. At the age of 15 to 24, women took the most excercise with 52,8% and began to plunge dramatically to to 42, 2% till the age of 34. It continued to have a slight decrease of 2,7% till the age of 44. However, the convey experienced a moderate rise at the age of 45 to 65 and over from 43,1% to 46,7% in women's activity.
