The bar chart represents a differentiation of three particular sectors which contributed to India’s gross domestic product the year between 1960 and 2000.
Overall, what stands out from the graph is that the contribution of the agricultural sector to the GDP climbed down over periods, while the opposite trend was observed in the case of services.
To begin with, in 1960, harvesting was the biggest sector of India’s GDP which came up with 63% of total GDP, and the rest of providing by the other two sectors which were 37%. In the following decade, the contribution of agriculture began to decrease and came to approximately 54%, on the other hand, industry, and services started to rise and reached 21 and 23% respectively.
In the next two decades, agriculture drifted to 31 percent, while services went over 40%. Though first three decades, 1960 to 1980, the industrial sector contribution increased gradually to 25%, in 1990, it decreased slightly to 23%. In the final year, services had the same value as agriculture had at the beginning, and agriculture contributed 15% which was the lowest among the features.
